Full Description

Situated on a hill overlooking the Don Valley, amidst an inter-war housing estate, the landscape around Sheffield Manor Lodge is a remnant of a once vast Medieval Park.

Whatever the season, Sheffield’s stories are being brought to life through an exciting range of themed activities, events and exhibits.

Whether it’s to discover the amazing story of Mary Queen of Scots’ imprisonment, how Sheffield could have become the Potteries rather than the Steel City, how Sheffield survived the Blitz, or how we are transforming urban landscapes to combat the changes tomorrow brings, come along and have fun discovering your great Sheffield Story.

You can come for a tour, to try some of the kids activities and medieval games, or even just for a meal at the Rhubarb shed café! Don’t forget to visit our farm where you can find big lad and all the other animals.
