Full Description

We’re a national charity that combines volunteers, surplus food and spare kitchen spaces to create tasty, nutritious meals for people at risk of food poverty and social isolation. We run over 20 projects across the UK, united by the simple idea that food waste and food poverty should not coexist.

The Sheffield Hub pops up every Wednesday lunchtime at St. Bart’s, Langsett and once each month at St. Mary’s, on Bramall Lane.

We have seen first-hand the power of people coming together and making new friends over a hot meal!

Our Wednesday sessions run at St Bartholomew’s Church, between Primrose Hill and Burgoyne Rd, just off Infirmary Rd. Almost next door to Primrose View children’s centre, St Bart’s is a 1 minute walk from Primrose View/Langsett Rd tram stop, just head up the hill and turn left into the gated garden which leads to the downstairs part of the building where all the cooking takes place.
